It was a season of change: We introduced audiences to Dylan T. Chmura-Moore, MSO’s talented new Music Director. In October, MSO was the very first group to perform in the renovated Capitol Civic Centre featuring plush, comfortable seats and a brand new floor plan. Guests also enjoyed updated lounge areas and facilities.

The concert season included a Beatles symphony experience, masterpieces by Mozart, and an afternoon in Italy. In early 2020, the world was forever changed with the emergence of the coronavirus, which caused lockdowns across the globe, putting an early end to our season and to our annual Kentucky Derby fundraiser as well.
