Season Archive 2020

Stronger with Music Special Events Series

An Archive of Events from August–December 2020

The COVID-19 pandemic ended our previous season prematurely and prevented us from holding our most important fundraisers of the year. The music must go on, and so MSO designed a series of special limited-capacity gatherings to help us connect and enjoy! The first two events were outdoors and a lot of fun! Unfortunately, once again, local positive COVID-19 cases caused us to reschedule our indoor events to 2021.

On September 2, 2020, Janet Planet and her Quartet delighted the audience at the Wharf. The show was originally scheduled for the last week in August but we had to postpone the concert due to rain. It was well worth the wait—Janet Planet is truly the voice of the new jazz culture!

Partygoers enjoyed a box lunch and great entertainment by 10 Strings Acoustic Duo (Jim Van Lanen and Pete Honzik), plus fun and games and beer samples courtesy of Sabbatical Brewing Co.!
