2021-2022 Events, Appearances
and Concert Season

2021-2022 saw some relief from the safety restrictions of COVID-19. The Symphony and special guest artists were finally able to perform before live audiences, face-to-face with our community! It was a season of celebration—MSO turned 70! Although the pandemic did prevent one of our scheduled guest performers from joining us, the season as a whole was wonderful. Thank you to all of our supporters and especially to our orchestra members and Dylan Chmura-Moore for filling our hearts with music once again!

Healing the Community

On May 22, at our first concert since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, we honored our police, fire, EMS, and healthcare professionals—essential workers were invited to attend this concert at the Capitol Civic Centre at no cost, with complimentary tickets sponsored by our generous donors.

Can you see a song?

On June 29, MSO Music Director Dylan T. Chmura-Moore and musicians from the Manitowoc Symphony Orchestra led a fun workshop at the Manitowoc Public Library on seeing music with art.
