Movies Pops!

The Music of John Williams

Sat., Oct. 8, 2022

7:30pm | Capitol Civic Centre

The enduring film scores of John Williams—the musical foundation of our lives.

Hear the movie masterpieces that we all love: Jurassic Park, Love Theme from Superman, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, E.T., Saving Private Ryan, Star Wars Medley, and many more!

Joining Dylan Chmura-Moore and the Orchestra will be the Lincoln High School Chamber Choir (David Bowman, conductor) and Master of Ceremonies Damon Ryan.

A pre-concert “informance” by local music historian Jim Miller will be shown in the concert hall beginning at 7:05pm. MSO Board member Tina Prigge will be sitting in for Jim this time. Please join the Symphony at a post-concert gathering upstairs at Brix, 939 South 8th St. with concert-themed cocktails!

You're at the Pops classic comic style explosion logo in red.
