Chill and Grill at the Manitowoc Symphony Orchestra Backyard BBQ FUNraiser: An Evening of Food, Music and Community Support

MANITOWOC, WI, May 31, 2024 – Manitowoc Symphony Orchestra (MSO) is hosting a summer Backyard BBQ FUNraiser featuring good eats, good music and good fun. This fun and casual event will be held at the home of MSO Board Member Bill Fricke. It is an opportunity to come together to show support for the MSO, while reveling in an evening of BBQ delights, musical performances, and joyful camaraderie.

The MSO Backyard BBQ Bash is planned for Thursday, June 13, RESCHEDULED TO WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 18 with doors open at 4:30pm, and dinner served at 5:30pm. Guests can look forward to savoring an array of specialties prepared by Late’s accompanied by Sabbatical brewing beers (in addition to wine, spritzers and other beverages). Live music provided by the 10 Strings Acoustic duo of Jim Van Lanen and Pete Honzik begins at 6:30pm. Throughout the evening, enjoy yard games, raffles and a cozy bonfire. 

“We’re excited to invite the public to join us for a relaxed and enjoyable evening,” remarked host Bill Fricke of MSO. “This event is not just about raising funds to support the Manitowoc Symphony Orchestra, but also about fostering a sense of camaraderie among our supporters and the community at large. It’s a celebration of music, food, and the shared passion for enriching our cultural landscape.”
