Hi I am Paulo George. I’m twelve years old and am a Wilson Middle School Student. I live in Manitowoc with my sister (who is also a violinist), my parents, and our pets. I have been playing the violin since I was three, and I like classical and fiddle tunes. I also like art, to ice skate, speed skate on roller blades, play soccer, hike in the woods, ride my bike, and carve wood. Thank you for this scholarship, this camp will be fun and I will learn a lot to play violin better.

Micaela C. Huesemann—Clarinet
9th Grade, Valders High School
Teacher: Michelle Hussey
Camp Attending: UW Whitewater High School Band Camp

Hello! My name is Micaela Huesemann, and I am a freshman clarinet player from Valders High School. I’ve been playing the clarinet since I was in fifth grade, and with the help of some amazing music teachers, I’ve grown as a musician and I’ve truly developed a passion for music. I enjoy participating in solo and ensemble festivals and school concerts, and I also enjoy playing in our school’s pep band. Besides music, I also like drawing, baking, and watching professional sports. You can always find me watching a good (or not so good) Packer game on any given Sunday!

To date, no camps have been canceled due to COVID-19 mandates.
If they are canceled, we agreed to provide our recipients with the same opportunity next year.
