Erin Boheme at The Wharf
Thank you to those who attended our first special event of the season, Erin Boheme in concert at The Wharf. It was a beautiful evening (including the sunset) at Manitowoc’s coolest waterfront bar and venue. Erin’s performance was memorable as were her songs—a standing ovation proved that! The food catered from the Courthouse Pub was enjoyed by all—trips back to the Pub for seconds proved that! Our raffles, oral auction, and reverse auction surpassed all of our bets. Manitowoc Symphony Orchestra says THANK YOU to all in attendance for your generosity and support.

Oshkosh, Wisconsin, native and jazz vocalist Erin Boheme was only 18 when she released her debut album. In 2004, after reading that fellow Oshkosh native and pianist Mike Melvoin was nominated for a Grammy, Boheme contacted him to offer her congratulations, a move that proved fortuitous. Melvoin, impressed with Boheme, soon became her mentor and invited her to work with him on his own records. That material soon found its way to Concord Records, which offered Boheme a deal and released What Love Is in 2006. In 2012, Boheme returned with the Michael Bublé-produced album What a Life. In 2017, Boheme sang at the inauguration of President Donald Trump.
