A Classic Film and New Music

Be haunted by the classic 1925 American silent film The Phantom of the Opera while the Symphony performs a new film score live. To quote Roger Ebert, the film “…creates beneath the opera one of the most grotesque places in the cinema… ”

Presents for the Lakeshore

John Rutter’s timeless holiday carols form the centerpiece of this concert featuring the CCC Community Chorale and the Lincoln HS Chamber Choir. Let’s paint! Let’s play!
Pictures and Games

Capitol Civic Centre
The inspirational PICTURES AT AN EXHIBITION (Ravel/Mussorgsky) will arrest our senses with its colorful brilliance and we’ll explore sensational music from the FINAL FANTASY video game universe by Nobuo Uematsu, considered to be the “Beethoven of gaming composers.” Join us in support of education and our sister city of Kamogawa, Japan.
Let’s indulge!
Our Sound: Toward 75 Years
7:30pm Saturday, Apr 13, 2024
Capitol Civic Centre
MSO heads toward 75 years with the greatest music of all time. The internationally acclaimed pianist Stanislava Varshavski will perform Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2. Beethoven’s Egmont Overture and Brahms’ Symphony No.3 will further spoil our ears.
We’re growing
MSO’s first concert was held in 1952. Since then, our civic orchestra has served generations of music lovers and students in the community through concerts, special events, and educational programming. With the creation of the Karl Miller Society (our donor recognition club), a push to bolster the endowment, the support received from the ongoing Endowed Chairs campaign, and our ever-expanding educational offerings—most recently highlighted by our continuing partnership with the Manitowoc Public School District, MSO is proudly setting itself up to serve the Lakeshore for generations to come. Be part of the good we’re creating. Visit manitowocsymphony.org/stronger or call 920-684-3492 to give or to get involved today.
